Volunteer with Namayingo United Women’s Group and use your time, experience, compassion, and professional skills to support women, girls, youth, and vulnerable families in Uganda.
NUWOG welcomes volunteers who believe in women’s dignity, girls’ education, stronger livelihoods, community health, and locally led development.
Volunteers may serve onsite in Namayingo District or remotely from another location, depending on current program needs, available supervision, experience, and the type of assignment. We aim to create volunteer opportunities that are useful to the community and personally meaningful for each volunteer.
Volunteer placements depend on current needs, but may include the following areas of service.
Teach tailoring, crafts, soap making, baking, entrepreneurship, or another practical income-generating skill.
Support women with financial literacy, savings groups, bookkeeping, business planning, marketing, and enterprise development.
Encourage girls through health education, confidence-building, mentoring, school support, and life-skills activities.
Share knowledge in farming, food production, agribusiness, sustainability, and household income development.
Assist with grant research, fundraising campaigns, social media, photography, storytelling, and community awareness.
Support website management, digital skills, data systems, administration, graphic design, research, and online projects.
We review every inquiry carefully to match volunteers with suitable roles and protect the dignity and safety of community members.
Tell us about your skills, experience, interests, availability, and preferred type of volunteer service.
