What is Namayingo United Women’s Group?

Namayingo United Women’s Group, also known as NUWOG, is a women-led community organization supporting women, girls, youth, children, and vulnerable families in Uganda.

When was NUWOG established?

NUWOG was registered in 2019 to strengthen women’s unity, livelihoods, health, education, leadership, and community participation.

Where does NUWOG operate?

NUWOG primarily serves women, girls, families, and communities in Namayingo District and surrounding areas in Eastern Uganda.

What programs does NUWOG offer?

We provide practical skills training, savings education, entrepreneurship guidance, livelihood support, farming knowledge, mentorship, and access to selected tools and materials.

Yes. NUWOG supports girls through sanitary-pad distribution, menstrual-health education, mentorship, confidence-building, community awareness, and encouragement to remain in school.

How can I donate to NUWOG?

Can I support a specific program?

Yes. You may express interest in supporting vocational training, girls’ sanitary pads, agriculture, health education, youth development, women’s livelihoods, or another approved program.

Can I donate items instead of money?

NUWOG may accept useful in-kind support such as sanitary pads, sewing materials, farming tools, educational materials, training equipment, or other approved supplies.
